Pay

$17.00-$18.00 per hour

This Position:
Assist the RWS Master Electrician at performances of the Medora Musical
Assist the RWS Electrics Department with install and focus of all lighting equipment
Perform all pre-show and post-show duties as assigned by the Master Electrician + Deck Manager
Supervise all spotlight operator at the Medora Musical nightly + inform Deck Manger of personnel issues.
Maintain Cleanliness of Burning Hills Amphitheatre Spot booth + lighting storage room.
Assist with trouble shooting + maintenance of Burning Hills Amphitheater lighting system.
Function as the in-house lighting technician for concerts at the Amphitheatre
Act as consultant for lighting trouble shooting, set up and maintenance at the in +ndash; town venues including Old Town Hall Theater + Town Square Patio
Work as general technician at in town venues as assigned by the Theaters Manager
Be familiar with BHA safety procedures and protocols

Supervisory Responsibilities
Oversee spotlight operators at the Medora Musical

Reliable, on time, and ready for every shift.
Provide outstanding guest service.


Required Education and Experience

Must give exceptional service.
Must be able to troubleshoot and create solutions if needed.
High School diploma required, associate or bachelor's degree in a field related to lighting technologies preferred.
Previous experience with lighting equipment required.
Advanced knowledge of lighting equipment.
Must be fluent in English, bilingual a plus.

Work Environment This position requires the employee to work outside in all weather conditions including heat, cold, humidity and wind.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to hear and focus on sound in areas with lots of commotion. Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time. Must remain alert to performances occurring and make necessary changes as problems arise which could require quick actions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift to 35 lbs. at times.
