Bill Ferrell Company is a well established shop in the Los Angeles area specializing in fabrication for live events, corporate events, television and cruise lines. Operating out of a 65,000 sq. ft. facility, we also have a large rental staging and turntable department.
The drafter position will report to the lead drafter and will be responsible for 3D modeling, creating working shop drawings, producing installation drawings and writing CNC files for routers and laser. Position will often work directly with project managers as well as fabrication personnel.
Successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- Proficiency with Auto Cad
- Ability to understand and read shop drawings
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experience with graphics programs is a plus
- Experience with CNC programming is a plus
