CineVita is seeking an experienced Lighting Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining the venue's lighting systems for live performances and events. The console is a grandMA3, and shows are pre-programmed and are called by a Stage Manager.

Responsibilities:

Operate the grandMA3 lighting console for performances as called by the Stage Manager.

Perform system troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on lighting fixtures and control systems

Assist with fixture swaps for repair and general upkeep of the lighting system

Collaborate with designers and production staff to ensure safe and efficient operation

Requirements:

Proficiency with grandMA3 software and hardware

Strong understanding of DMX, networking, power, troubleshooting, and system architecture

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, work at height and operate a single person Genie lift safely

Prior experience in live event, theatrical, or broadcast lighting environments

Ability to follow cues and work precisely under direction of a Stage Manager

Familiarity with LED and moving light maintenance

Candidate must be available for performance calls Thursday through Sunday. A full production schedule will be sent to qualified applicants.
