Gulfshore Playhouse, a mission-driven, professional theatre company located in Naples, Florida,
is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented and organized individual to serve as Company Manager.
Gulfshore Playhouse offers a diverse season of straight plays and musicals ranging from
venerated classics and Broadway hits to contemporary works and world premieres. Gulfshore
Playhouse is passionately committed to producing high-quality, professional theatre which
exceeds the expectations of the cultured residents and visitors of Naples, FL, many of whom are
regular theatre patrons in New York, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.
Gulfshore Playhouse recently opened the Gulfshore Playhouse Baker Theatre and Education
Center, a state-of-the-art facility, featuring a 365-seat mainstage with a Broadway-sized stage, a
125-seat flexible space, rehearsal studios, classrooms, and rental space. In 2022, Gulfshore
Playhouse became nationally recognized as the 77th member of the League of Resident Theatres
(LORT-C). This is an extraordinarily exciting time for Gulfshore Playhouse, which is
experiencing unprecedented growth in a collaborative and creative community.
Status: Full-time, year-round position, Overtime exempt
Start Date: Candidate+rsquo;s earliest availability
The ideal individual will have a strong drive to provide high-quality work, the ability to exercise
good judgment in a variety of situations, strong written and verbal communication,
organizational skills, and the ability to work as part of the team. Gulfshore Playhouse values hard
work, kindness, generosity, passion, and grace-under-pressure. Employee will be expected to
work extended hours on occasion when necessary to meet goals. Weekend and evening hours are
required including attendance at performances, special events, and/or meetings that may happen
outside normal scheduled hours.
The Company Manager reports directly to the General Manager. Duties and responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
a. Coordinate and manage all aspects of travel, housing, and transportation for the
Playhouse+rsquo;s actors, designers, directors, guest artists, etc.
b. Prepare and manage annual budgets for travel, housing, and transportation for the
Playhouse+rsquo;s actors, designers, directors, guest artists, etc.
c. Coordinate airport pick-ups and drop-offs.
d. Facilitate welcome packet distribution.
e. Annual procurement and upkeep of rental properties in collaboration with landlords,
including but not limited to cleanliness and repairs.
f. Assist with and maintain the company calendar, including staff meetings, birthdays,
and special events.
g. Address all general needs of artists, such as housing, reimbursements, and transportation.
h. Maintain guest artist contact and housing spreadsheets.
i. Manage financial reporting for all company management and travel expenses.
j. Distribute and submit Workman+rsquo;s Compensation forms when required.
k. Attend all staff meetings and other meetings as required.
l. Work any events as may be required by employer including but not limited to opening
night celebrations and the annual gala fundraiser.
m. Provide services in a manner in accordance with the guidelines contained within
Employer+rsquo;s employee manual and style guide.
n. Render such other services as may reasonably be required by Employer and as are
customarily furnished by a Company Manager at a first-class professional theatrical
organization in the United States.
Qualifications:
● Prior experience in Company Management preferred
● Fluency in Excel, Word and Google Drive
● Exemplary organizational skills required

Compensation + Benefits:
Salary range: $50,000 to $55,000.
Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, short and long term disability, a 403(b)
retirement plan and paid vacation and sick leave.
