StarQuest Dance Competition is a nationwide dance competition, touring to 70+ cities each year to deliver a truly unique experience to young performers. We are looking for motivated, positive, people-oriented leaders to join our touring Road Warrior team!

What POSITIONS are we looking for?

Announcer/Sound Operator/DJ: This position is for passionate technicians who have a vast knowledge of age-appropriate music, the ability to learn scripts timed to our customized music, and a positive vocal energy. Comfort interacting with studio owners, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and consistent accuracy while multi-tasking in time-sensitive situations is a MUST!

-Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to load in, load out, and carry heavy equipment

-Ability to work well on little to no sleep (And thrive while doing it!)

Interview Dates:

We will be hiring throughout September - December for the 2027 season through virtual interviews. These will be scheduled on an individual basis.

Mandatory Training Event for all Road Warriors*:
January 8th, 2027: Virtual Training -
To be attended virtually from your home base
January 11th - 18th, 2027: In-Person Training-
Training will be hosted in Lancaster, PA. StarQuest will arrange travel and boarding for this time.


Tour Dates:
January 22nd - May 30th , 2027 (Excluding March 26th- 28th)
**Most weeks you will travel to the event on Thursday early morning and return home on Monday afternoon

Additional Details:
-Positions have no union jurisdiction
-Competitive pay with seasonal and yearly increases (pay rates provided prior to interview)
-Travel, food (provided or per diem), and double occupancy lodging provided on the road
- We host 3 to 5 events every weekend of our season, which vary in size. The average Road Warrior works 15 weekends throughout the season.
