Audio Technician: October 31th, 2025- January 1, 2026

Talmi Entertainment / Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet seeks a skilled and energetic Audio Technician for an annual national tour.

Audio Technician will be responsible for:

Qlab Expertise IS A MUST. Theatrical Playback experience.

coordinating and executing all aspects of audio playback during show call and daily rehearsals.


daily sound check of local equipment to ensure proper commercial presentation standards are met.


interfacing with foreign talent daily in order to recognize show cues and facilitate daily rehearsal.

If performance venue lacks the necessary audio equipment, Audio Technician may be required from time to time to collaborate with Production Manager and local venue staff to organize and obtain audio gear of such quality as to successfully present a professional commercial presentation of the production to the public.



Touring experience is a major plus. Experience working with commonly found audio boards and equipment is necessary for a successful experience. Ability to collaborate in a positive and professional manner with local crew on a daily basis required.

Crew will travel overnight from one city to the next on an industry standard 12 bunk sleeper coach. The tour will travel with 1 semi truck and 1 seated coach for the cast. The Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet tour is a challenging and rewarding engagement, lasting from October 31st through January 1. The tour will load in, perform, and load out of a new city every day.

Starting weekly salary, including per diem. Rate is ultimately dependent on an individual candidate+rsquo;s skills and experience. starting $1700/wk
