Position: Stagehand Over-hire
Supervisor: Production Crew Lead
Location: Harrison Opera House, Norfolk, Virginia
FLSA Status: Part-time; Non-Exempt
Salary: $18.00/hour
Local applicants required.

We are looking to connect with experienced, flexible, and team-oriented technicians who may be available on short notice for over-hire needs across all production departments.

Areas include:

-Electrics
-Follow Spot Operator
-Audio
-Deck Crew / Stagehands
-Orchestra Support


Opportunities may include backstage run crew tracks, load in and strike support, and short regional tours.

Skills required:
-Lift 50+ pounds
-Use of basic hand and power tools
-Able to walk for long periods while lifting, carrying, or pushing heavy objects
-Must have own transportation
-Ability to communicate effectively in written + spoken English
-Punctuality and professionalism
Skills preferred:
-Previous experience in a theater setting
-Knowledge of theatrical lighting, hang/focus, sound reinforcement, and/or scenic carpentry
-Comfortable working at heights
Employment Requirements:
-Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
-Completion of Background and DMV check.
