Board Op/Electrician

Ogunquit Playhouse, Ogunquit, Maine seeks an experienced Board Op/Electrician for our 2025 Season productions of WHEN ELVIS MET THE BEATLES + TITANIC. We are looking at candidates with immediate availability who would work through to end-of-season, Sun. 11/9 (with possible extension for holiday show approx. Mon. 11/10 - Mon. 12/22).

Ideal Candidate: Must be detail-oriented and remain focused in a fast-paced working environment. Prior theatrical electrician experience is required.

Job Duties/Expectations include (but are not limited to):
- Startup, checkout, and shutdown procedures for each show (8 shows/week).
- Run 8-9 shows/week as lighting console operator.
- Shadow spot ops tracks to cover in case of emergency.
- Assist the Head Electrician and Asst. Head Electrician with execution of lighting plots.
- Participate in weekly work calls.
- Support with repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of conventional and automated lighting equipment.
- Assist with rehearsals, load-in, strike, tech rehearsals, and previews.
- Additional hours running events and Arts Academy Shows.
- Rigging, ladder work, and lift experience required.
- Opportunities for work with Arts Academy possible.
- Unconventional hours may be required. Must be able to work overnights for - Tech Weeks (typically four 12-hr shifts) for each production.

Position is a W2, $19/hr plus O/T and housing included.
