Company Manager (Touring)

Location: Touring across the United States
Compensation: $1,500 USD per week + $420 USD weekly per diems (while touring)
Contract: Touring contract, minimum 6 months on/off per year
Requirements: Full U.S. work rights required + Criminal History Check
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Company Manager to join the U.S. touring production of A Taste of Ireland. This is a hands-on role that combines company management, production management, and elements of stage management. The Company Manager will be responsible for the smooth operation of all touring aspects, both on the road and in theatres, ensuring the artistic and logistical integrity of the show.
The Company Manager is supported by a capable touring cast and crew of 20+ndash;24 personnel, along with a strong team of producers and established systems. While you will not be required to perform every listed responsibility each day, you must be prepared to step into each of these roles as needed to ensure the tour runs seamlessly.
This position requires strong touring theatre experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities
Company + Cast Management
Oversee day-to-day well-being and professional conduct of cast and crew.
Handle cast/crew disputes and maintain a positive touring environment.
Ensure compliance with company rules and touring policies (+ldquo;Rules on the Road+rdquo;).
Manage comp ticket allocations.
Coordinate and monitor travel schedules and accommodation.
Check cast and crew into hotels; manage rooming lists and bookings.
Book flights, vehicles, and ground transport.
Manage on-the-road cash flow and expenses.
Production + Technical Management
Oversee freight, logistics, and load-in/load-out schedules.
Liaise with venues to complete and distribute venue reports.
Source and maintain gear, consumables, and production equipment.
Maintain and update the Show Bible.
Ensure insurance and Certificates of Insurance (COIs) are arranged and compliant.
Ability to undertake technical advancing and negotiations with venues as required.
Coordinate production administration, contracts, and crew paperwork.
Costume + Merchandise
Manage and maintain costumes, including washing, ironing, and repairs.
Oversee merchandise stock, sales reporting, and replenishment.
Scheduling + Communication
Create and manage the master tour schedule.
Prepare and distribute daily calls and schedules.
Act as primary liaison between producers, venues, and touring company.
Show + Stage Duties
Call the show as required.
Support stage management functions, including backstage operations.
Assist with load-ins, load-outs, and production logistics as needed.
Finance + Settlements
Oversee settlement reviews with venues.
Maintain financial tracking of touring costs and budgets.
Human Resources + Recruitment
Interview, hire, and onboard crew members as required.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
Requirements
Minimum 3+ years+rsquo; experience in theatre company management, production management, or touring stage management.
Strong knowledge of theatrical touring operations, including technical and production workflows.
Proven ability to manage logistics, budgets, and people under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to handle physical and practical demands (e.g., driving, assisting with freight, on-the-road problem solving).
Valid U.S. driver+rsquo;s license (preferred).
Full U.S. work rights (mandatory).
Contract + Benefits
$1,500 USD per week salary.
$420 USD weekly per diem while touring.
All travel and accommodation provided (private hotel room).
Ability to return home between touring periods (travel provided in lieu of accommodation).
Commencement + Company Calendar
Option 1: Start date between October 20 +ndash; November 10, 2025.
Option 2: Start date January 12, 2026, with some remote work required during November+ndash;December 2025 (paid pro rata).
Company Shutdown: December 23, 2025 +ndash; January 12, 2026. Any work during this period is negotiable and paid pro rata.
