Scenic Artist -

Meadow Brook Theatre located on the Campus of Oakland University, in Rochester, Michigan is accepting applications for Scenic Artist. This season MBT will produce 7 shows and will remount +ldquo;A Christmas Carol+rdquo;.

The Scenic Artist is responsible for all paint treatments for the production. They will work directly with the Scenic Designer and Technical Director to create paint samples and develop a paint plan for each show.

Requirements:
●3 yrs. professional experience minimum
● Must possess excellent scenic and faux painting skills.
● Must possess the ability to work collaboratively with an artistic design team and adapt to designs as they change
● Previous experience working as a painter in a theatrical setting.
● May be required to work in extreme conditions: at heights, in confined spaces
● Must maintain a safe and orderly working environment
● Ability to work a varied schedule including evenings and weekends at predetermined times
