JOB SUMMARY:
Production Lead will work in the shop creating props and scenic elements. Once the faire is open, they will act as a weekend stage manager, as necessary. PARF is an outdoor rain-or-shine festival located in Manheim, Pennsylvania. Compensation is $600 per week, plus on-site communal housing.

RESPONSIBLITIES:
Since we are a seasonal festival, +ldquo;production crew+rdquo; is a catch-all for props, scenic, painting, stage management, and anything else that needs to be +lsquo;produced+rsquo; to make a production happen. The +ldquo;Production Lead+rdquo; acts as point person for this crew, reporting to the Shop Foreman/Properties Manager, and assisting them in leading the Production Crew.

Overall job responsibilities include:
-Design, build, source, and/or purchase props for non-traditional theater including outdoor stages, faire ground decorations, dinner theatre, immersive fairground experiences, and street entertainment
-Take on a leadership role for Production Crew, assisting Shop Foreman in project delegation and mentorship
-Assist in prop organization and storage, both in the shop and on faire grounds
-Assist in upkeep of stages, scenic elements, practical effects, and set construction
-Aid construction crew and lead production crew in general faire grounds upkeep including managing seasonal signage and large prop decorations
-As needed, acting as a +ldquo;stage manager+rdquo; during faire days, including running microphones, communicating with actors, and assisting backstage of joust
-Leading other production-relevant tasks such as pulling and transporting furniture and aiding in seasonal show load-in/load-outs
-Be comfortable operating a variety of equipment such as a boom lift, box truck, stick shift tiny truck, etc. (Training provided if needed)

DATES:
Initial contract will be for the 2025 season (through December 23rd 2025). Contract re-evaluation to occur in October for potential year-round employment.

COMPENSATION:
Pay will be $600 per week, with free communal housing accommodations.
