Cedar Point, one of the oldest amusement parks in the country, is looking for energetic, creative, driven staff for it's 2025 season. Each year, Cedar Point's Live Entertainment division produces over 15 productions including interactive/immersive shows, music reviews, cover bands, special events, and more! We are looking for talented and passionate individuals to be a part of our Fall production team.

Reports to: Costumes Area Supervisor
Responsibilities:
Perform alterations and repairs on garments.
Construct garments from patterns, as assigned.
Pull and restock costumes, garments, and accessories.
Communicate costume needs to team leadership.
Ensure timely completion of costume projects within the assigned time frame.
Participate in fittings as needed.
Work with leadership to properly sort costumes for weekly laundry.
Organize and clean all costuming areas, and break areas.
Communicate daily needs with team leadership.
Coordinate with production/event leadership for overall success of event.
Ensure the longevity and integrity of event/production costumes.
Willing to take constructive criticism and be open to learning new methods.
Maintain confidentiality related to company and production information.
Maintain a neat workspace.
Work in tight areas may be required from time to time.
Adhere to safety standards with PPE. Mandatory adherence.
Follow and execute a pre-assigned costume list or track.
Maintain consistency with costume operations from day to day.
Be in compliance with OSHA safety and sanitation standards at all times.
Adhere to and uphold Costume, Props, + Park policy.
Conduct weekly/daily maintenance of production costumes and accessories.
Must be present for all rehearsal schedule periods.
Must be able to possibly work nights, mornings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Any other and all duties deemed necessary by management pertaining to the Costume/Prop and Performance Departments.

Education + Experience:
Pursuing or obtained a vocational degree in Costumes or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of relevant background and work experience.
1 to 2 years of relevant experience in Costuming in either an Educational or Professional Theatrical setting.
Skills:
Maintain positive attitude, high level of organizational, strong communication skills, problem solving skills, and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Thrive in a deadline centered environment.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of hand sewing, machine sewing along with clothing and jewelry repairs.
Open to learning new skills.
Must be able to take instruction in a professional and positive manner.
Must be able to work in a team environment and maintain a professional work ethic.
Must be able to work in a collaborative environment.
Basic knowledge of draping is a plus, but not required!
