$650-$800 Commensurate with Experience per week
Theatre By The Sea is seeking an experienced and highly organized Company Manager to join our team for the remainder of the 2025 Summer Season. This is an immediate, short-term position ideal for someone who is organized, flexible, and ready to jump into a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing housing and transportation for seasonal staff and performers
- Coordinating company travel, including airport runs and ground transportation
- Supporting housed performers/crew with laundry/grocery trips
- Running errands (local shopping, supplies, hospitality needs) as required to support daily operations
- Serving as a primary point of contact for company needs and emergencies
- Categorizing and organizing receipts and basic reporting in collaboration with the Associate Producer
- Monitor and help in maintaining/cleaning the Company Housing
- Preparing workmans comp forms and accident reports. Scheduling doctors appointments as needed and taking people to the hospital if needed.
- Drive actors to and from all rehearsals and performances.
- Company Manager will also at times work with and report to the Artistic Director, Associate Producer, General Manager, Production Manager and Stage Mgmt to ensure that the artistic and
administrative standards and policies of Theatre By The Sea are maintained.
Qualifications:
- Prior company management or stage management experience strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to multi-task under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
- Driver+rsquo;s license and clean driving record required, and the ability to drive 12-15 passenger van (vehicle provided for company errands)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Should be prepared to work long, odd hours at times. Candidate should be willing to assume other job responsibilities if called upon to do so.
