Summary:
The Assistant Sound Engineer supports the setup, maintenance, and strike of all audio systems on tour for Miracle on 34th St.. This role assists the Head Sound Engineer and ensures smooth operation of the production+rsquo;s sound across multiple venues.

Responsibilities:

Assist with audio system load-in, cabling, setup, and strike.

Help monitor and maintain microphones, including body mics, and orchestra pit setups.

Support troubleshooting during rehearsals and performances.

Work with local crews under the direction of the Head Sound Engineer.

Maintain clean and organized audio equipment and cabling.

Qualifications:

Theatre/live sound experience preferred; touring experience a plus.

Familiarity with microphones, including body mics, RF, and digital consoles.

Experience with orchestra pit audio setups strongly preferred.

Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Ability to follow direction and maintain safe practices.

November 28+ndash;30 +mdash; New Haven, CT

December 3+ndash;7 +mdash; Potential show (TBD)

December 8+ndash;14 +mdash; Bethlehem, PA

December 16+ndash;18 +mdash; Detroit, MI

December 21+ndash;22 +mdash; Wilmington, DE

December 26+ndash;28 +mdash; Tyson, VA

December 29+ndash;January 4 +mdash; Syracuse, NY

Compensation: $800+ndash;$1,000/week DOE + $45/day per diem

Housing and travel provided.

This tour is expected to expand and rerun next year, offering potential year-over-year employment opportunities.
