Assistant Electrician (Touring) +ndash; Miracle on 34th St.
Reports To: Head Electrician
Summary:
The Assistant Electrician supports the installation, maintenance, and operation of lighting and electrical systems on tour for Miracle on 34th St.. This role works closely with the Head Electrician to ensure efficient and safe setups across multiple venues.
Responsibilities:
Assist with lighting load-in, hang, focus, and strike.
Help maintain, troubleshoot, and repair lighting systems during the tour.
Work with local crews as directed by the Head Electrician.
Ensure safe handling of cables, fixtures, and power distribution.
Keep lighting equipment organized and tour-ready.
Qualifications:
Theatre electrics experience preferred; touring experience a plus.
Familiarity with lighting systems and tools.
Strong teamwork and adaptability.
Ability to follow direction and maintain safe practices.

November 28+ndash;30 +mdash; New Haven, CT
December 3+ndash;7 +mdash; Potential show (TBD)
December 8+ndash;14 +mdash; Bethlehem, PA
December 16+ndash;18 +mdash; Detroit, MI
December 21+ndash;22 +mdash; Wilmington, DE
December 26+ndash;28 +mdash; Tyson, VA
December 29+ndash;January 4 +mdash; Syracuse, NY
Compensation: $800+ndash;$1,000/week DOE + $45/day per diem
Housing and travel provided.
This tour is expected to expand and rerun next year, offering potential year-over-year employment opportunities.
