The Business Office Assistant serves as the key bookkeeper within the Financial Office.
Business Office Assistant Job Duties:
- Reports to the Finance Director
- Reconciles cash drawers daily (2-2.5 Hours)(5-6 Hours Monday)
o This includes balancing the drawers back to their starting balances
o Reconciling the sales and nightly revenue to Toast reports
o Creating an invoice for Petty Cash as needed.
- Prepares deposits. Enters Restaurant journal entry. (1/2 Hour)
- Go to bank for change. (1 Hour 3 times a week)
- Prepares AP checks for distribution and mailing. (15 min)
- Enter all income from Box Office. (1/2 Hour)
- Clear checks on the check log daily. Send out request for status to Department heads weekly. (2 hours)
- Compares all credit card statements to credit card feeds monthly (8 Hours)
- Collects quarters from laundry machines, rolls coins, and deposits them. (3 Hours)
- Assist Business Office with assistant work as assigned.

Job qualifications:
- Must be proficient in Excel and able to create simple formulas.
- Must know how to count US currency.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Experience with Toast a plus.
