Under the supervision of the Director of Production, the Lighting Supervisor works in association with the Lighting Design Faculty, the Technical Director, and other managers in the Department of Theater in the planning, coordination, and supervision of all technical elements as it relates to electrics and projections. Overall responsibilities include installation, use, strike, maintenance, and acquisition of theatrical lighting and projection equipment and supplies for all Department of Theater activities including academic productions, Department events, venue rentals, and contracted projects. Provide supervision and management services for theater rentals and non-academic projects. Manage and maintain associated lighting equipment and facilities for use by students and all users of the Department's performance venues at a level consistent with professional standards.
