STAFFING NOTICE
WARDROBE SUPERVISOR (Theater)
A Nightmare on Strip Street, the new hilarious and sexy parody of Hollywood+rsquo;s most famous horror and slasher movies, from the producers + director of the hit show The Empire Strips Back, is coming to San Francisco on October 2nd. NX5 Theatrical is now accepting submissions for an experienced Wardrobe Supervisor.

SALARY
Rate is $1,300 a week based on a 40 hour work week

EMPLOYMENT LOCATION
Great Star Theater

RELEVANT DATES
First day of employment: September 30th
Tech: September 30th-October 2nd
Opening Night: October 2nd
Closing Night: November 2nd

POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of the Wardrobe Supervisor include the following:
Maintenance, repair and laundering of all costumes, masks, prosthetics and wigs during technical rehearsals and through the run of the production.
Management of the wardrobe stock and costumes. This includes upkeep of inventory lists, submission of purchase requests, and continual organization of wardrobe supplies and costumes.
Facilitation and execution of performer quick changes during technical rehearsals, performances, and work calls.
Establishment of a calm, safe, and professional back stage environment for performers.

Candidates must have experience working on a wardrobe crew and working with costume machinery. They must also be proficient in both hand and machine sewing. Experience working with latex, silicone, and foam costumes is preferred but not required.
The nature of the show requires candidates who are comfortable with working in darkened environments. Applicants must be able to stoop, kneel or crouch, and ascend and descend stairs multiple times per show.
All team members must be respectful of others at all times, be safety conscious, and demonstrate a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Due to the sensitive nature of this production we demand a high level of professional conduct.
