STAGE MANAGER (Theater)
A Nightmare on Strip Street, the new hilarious and sexy parody of Hollywood+rsquo;s most famous horror and slasher movies, from the producers + director of the hit show The Empire Strips Back, is coming to San Francisco on October 2nd. NX5 Theatrical is now accepting submissions for an experienced Stage Manager.
SALARY
$1,400 weekly based on a 40 hour work week.
Please note that this is a non-equity position.

Great Star Theater
RELEVANT DATES
First day of employment: September 30th
Tech: September 30th-October 2nd
Opening Night: October 2nd
Closing Night: November 2nd
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of the Stage Manager include the following:
Fulfillment of assigned run track. This includes maintaining props or costume placement, manipulating scenery, and operation of puppets.
Establishment of a calm, safe, and professional back stage environment for cast and crew.
Management of hospitality, first-aid, and expendable inventories.
Lead daily pre-show meetings with the full company.
Distribution of daily calls for dancers and run crew, in collaboration with the on-site Dance Captain and the Technical Supervisor.
Generation of performance reports.
Show calling for all the technical rehearsals and performances.
Collaboration with front of house staff to ensure a seamless experience for audiences and performers from arrival to completion of each performance.
Candidates must have stage management experience, including show calling and managing a large company. Experience working in dance is preferred but not required.
The Stage Manager must be respectful of others at all times, be safety conscious, and demonstrate a focus on team work and collaboration. Due to the sensitive nature of this production we demand a high level of professional conduct.
