About the Opportunity
We+rsquo;re seeking one or more highly organized professionals to join our General Management team, either as a General Manager or a promotable Assistant General Manager depending on experience and fit. These are vital leadership roles that ensure our tours launch smoothly, run efficiently, and reflect our commitment to world-class artistry and professional excellence.

The General Manager serves as a strategic partner and team leader, overseeing daily business operations and shaping long-term success. The Assistant General Manager plays a hands-on, detail-driven role supporting the entire management process from budgets to HR to tour logistics.

Both roles report to the Senior General Manager and collaborate closely with departments across the organization.

General Manager Responsibilities
Budgeting + Finance
+bull; Lead the development and tracking of production and operating budgets
+bull; Manage payroll, invoices, settlements, and overall financial reporting
+bull; Collaborate with all departments to ensure cost efficiency and accuracy across our tours
Contract Management
+bull; Negotiate and execute contracts for creative teams and touring staff
+bull; Interface with artist representatives and theatrical unions
+bull; Ensure all operations are compliant with both union agreements and company policies
Tour Logistics + Operations
+bull; Oversee tour personnel logistics and pre-tour launch planning
+bull; Lead operations meetings and collaborate with internal teams on tour support
+bull; Troubleshoot challenges and drive operational excellence
People Leadership + HR
+bull; Supervise and mentor Assistant General Managers, Company Managers, and Assistants
+bull; Oversee performance reviews, lead recruitment efforts, and support professional development
+bull; Foster a positive, respectful, and resilient team culture

Assistant General Manager Responsibilities
Personnel + HR Support
+bull; Assist Company Managers with onboarding, contracts, HR issues, and orientation
+bull; Manage personnel files, HR documentation, and training coordination
+bull; Support tour morale and company culture
Administrative + Financial Operations
+bull; Handle petty cash, credit card reporting, payroll coordination, and tax credits
+bull; Manage tour travel logistics, housing, and company documentation
+bull; Draft contracts and assist with hiring creative teams and touring staff
Corporate Support + Process Improvement
+bull; Help develop SOPs and contribute to recruitment and training strategies
+bull; Identify ways to improve efficiency and support organizational goals

General Manager Qualifications
+bull; 5+ years experience in theatrical general management or touring leadership
+bull; Strong contract negotiation, financial oversight, and people management skills
+bull; High emotional intelligence, Team leadership and ability to navigate high-stakes situations diplomatically
+bull; Confident navigating union regulations and complex logistics
+bull; Clear communicator, calm under pressure, and passionate about live entertainment
+bull; Proficiency with accounting tools and spreadsheets
+bull; Available to travel seasonally and work some evenings/weekends

Assistant General Manager Qualifications
+bull; 2+ndash;4 years experience in theatrical company management, arts administration or a related field
+bull; Detail-oriented, collaborative, and proactive in supporting teams and taking initiative in identifying and resolving issues as they arise
+bull; Flexible, quick-thinking, and eager to grow within a fast-paced theatrical environment
+bull; Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
+bull; Comfortable with seasonal travel and variable work hours
+bull; Interest in growing into a General Manager role over time

Salary + Benefits
The salary range is approximately $60,000 +ndash; $75,000 for the Assistant General Manager and $80,000 - $100,000+ for the General Manager, depending on experience. This range reflects Crossroads Live North America+rsquo;s good faith estimate at the time of posting and is intended to serve as a general guideline. The final compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will depend on multiple factors, including skills, relevant work experience, education and training, internal equity, and market conditions.
