The Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia seeks applicants for the IATSE 799 position of Wig and Makeup Coordinator for their upcoming 2025-2026 season. The Wig and Makeup Coordinator manages the wig and make-up needs for all WST productions, manages the wigs crew, and supports the wardrobe team for all mainstage performances. Duties include maintaining all wig and make-up supplies, coordinating with designers, and applying wigs and make-up during performances. Candidates should have experience in leading a wigs team at a professional theatre, basic alteration skills, and excellent theatrical wig and makeup skills. This full-time, hourly position requires night, weekend, and some holiday hours as the performance schedule dictates. Candidate need not be IATSE to apply, and will join Local 799 upon hiring.
