Seeking highly experienced theatrical Stage Manager for internationally-renowned children's entertainment tour.
Candidates must possess all necessary skills customarily rendered with each role and have experience executing first-class musical stage performances to an equivalent calibre of a Broadway, West End or pop music production. Candidates must have a valid passport and no issues traveling to Canada.
Tour is 2 tour bus, 1 truck production. Compensation is dependent on experience and role and is exclusive of per diems, travel and accommodation. Los Angeles based candidates preferred, but not limited to.

The Employee shall perform all services customarily rendered by the Company Stage Manager of a first-class musical
stage play (of the same quality and calibre as a Broadway/West End musical). Without limitation the following
+bull; Attendance at rehearsals and rehearsal management.
Cast management across the tour
+bull; Develop a relationship and perform appropriate OJT between the CSM/ASM to allow for coverage of roles,
mutual assistance for company administrative work and appropriate roll support.
+bull; Always Maintain company quality Standards.
+bull; Managing the rehearsal schedule with the creative team and creating weekly/daily call sheets if required.
+bull; Completion of Rehearsal Reports and Tour Show Reports and signing off
on all elements scheduled, including induction of local crew into the show and Health and Safety protocol.
+bull; Calling the show and cueing all departments in technical rehearsal/performance with relevant cues.
+bull; Working with the Production Manager to actively manage all aspects of the production, including, cast and crew
backstage during performance; actively overseeing and participating in set and prop movements; puppetry; care
for the cast and costumes during performances.
+bull; Marking up the script with cues for all departments relevant to the Production and ensuring local crew receive accurate cue sheets.
+bull; Managing the induction of Cast into each venue and risk management.
+bull; Actively participate in all matters and activities relating to Health and Safety including compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and codes of Practice.
+bull; Ensuring load in, cast scheduling and load out schedules run to time or are adjusted to maximise efficiency
and minimise additional expenditure.
+bull; To liaise with Cast and Crew regarding repair or maintenance of every show related asset at need, and delegate
repair or maintenance to the appropriate department.
+bull; To act as the primary liaison with Venue Management to ensure seamless delivery of each performance.
+bull; Surveying any performance or Meet + Greet venue with adequate time to then walk through with cast, making any required adjustments to the venue.
+bull; To liaise with the Cast/Crew in attendance at any performance regarding any relevant issues/incidents/accidents or near-misses arising before, during or after the performance, and ensure that
these and any technical, client or other issues are reported on the relevant documentation.

+bull; To manage a Production Folder that includes: the prompt copy of the script, emergency protocol, show reports, risk assessment and management forms, daily sign in sheets and to report on all daily, weekly or at need to the relevant parties
+bull; To personally report to producer any issues that come to the attention of Stage Management that
need further input.
+bull; Reasonable other duties as directed.
