PRIMARY ROLE
The Project Manager is responsible for the management, technical design, and coordination of projects and requests for pricing. The Project Manager will create budgets, production schedules, overall project plans, 3D model technical designs, and oversee production of projects through their lifecycle.
Project Managers who thrive at 3dx have a background in Technical Direction, possess an ability to problem solve, an excellent work ethic, team mentality, willingness to ask questions and learn new skills, show personal accountability, and enjoy working in this field.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Creation of project budgets
Development of production schedules
Creation of 3D models and build drawings using AutoCAD and/or Rhino
Developing + submitting Change Orders
Subcontractor and vendor coordination
Understanding project contractual conditions
Control of multiple project schedules and management of multiple projects
Monitors costs and hour allocations to identify any potential project problems.
Keep all projects plans, change orders, scope of work, up-to-date and accurate
Ensures completion of project closeout documents and punch list tasks
Post-mortem review and Lessons Learned for future projects
Travel to install, or lead installation teams on installations

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor+rsquo;s degree in project management, or equivalent
Prior experience with theatrical and/or display building practices
Prior experience in a scene shop or equivalent
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving history

SKILL AND ABILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrable proficiency with 3D modeling software, specifically AutoCAD and/or Rhino
Proficiency in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel, and E-mail applications

GENERAL PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Position reports to the Principals
Standing and walking on concrete
Use of hands and fingers
Ability to withstand a shop environment with minimal climate control and moderate noise levels
Occasional outdoor work
