POSITION SUMMARY:
The Carpenter is responsible for the construction and fabrication of scenery and props as required for production. Using technical drawings supplied by the Scene Shop Supervisor / Technical Director (TD) the shop carpenter must accurately produce a finished project on a timely basis. Care and cleanup of the shop, shop tools, and set storage must be maintained. The Carpenter should contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
