The North Country Center for the Arts at Jean's Playhouse, an intimate 260-seat theatre located in the rural resort town of Lincoln, NH, is now hiring for its 2025 Summer Season, which features JERSEY BOYS and GREASE in rotating repertory, with intermittent comedians and presenting acts in between. Most tech positions are only needed for 5 weeks; however, there are a handful who need to run the shows for the entire 9 week season.

The Carpenter reports directly to the Technical Director and Master Carpenter and contributes to the construction and installation of the two shows in repertory, as well as supporting and teaching the change-over plan. The Carpenter must have basic tool knowledge and construction skills, be capable of taking direction and working on a fast-paced schedule. Lifting items up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, working with construction tools, and maintaining a clean and organized shop are day to day activities in this position. Candidates must have a valid driver's license. Possible, optional opportunity to stay for a few extra weeks to support the set up of our Fall Attraction.

Weekly Stipend is $350 / week, plus shared, dorm-like housing in walking distance of the theatre, shops, as well as restaurants, grocery stores, and other common needs.
