The North Country Center for the Arts at Jean's Playhouse, an intimate 260-seat theatre located in the rural resort town of Lincoln, NH, is now hiring for its 2025 Summer Season, which features JERSEY BOYS and GREASE in rotating repertory, with intermittent comedians and presenting acts in between. Most tech positions are only needed for 5 weeks; however, there are a handful who need to run the shows for the entire 9 week season.

The Master Carpenter reports directly to the Technical Director and assists in supervising all aspects of the shop, as well as contributing heavily to the construction and installation of the two shows in repertory, as well as supporting and teaching the change-over plan. The Master Carpenter must have strong skills in theatrical fabrication techniques, including carpentry, rigging, welding, and other construction and scenic installation methods. Candidates should be experienced with working in a shop environment, capable of taking direction, taking initiative, and consistently producing, and completing, high quality work on a fast-paced schedule. Lifting items up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, working with construction tools, and maintaining a clean and organized shop are day to day activities in this position. Candidates must have a valid driver's license.

Weekly Stipend is $500 / week, plus shared, dorm-like housing in walking distance of the theatre, shops, as well as restaurants, grocery stores, and other common needs.
