Terms:
Full-time, year-round, exempt position plus Benefits (see below). Applicant must be a resident of the Cleveland area or willing to relocate.
Salary:
Range for this job is between 41K - 44K depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role:
The Audio Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the audio departments for our consortium of theaters: Great Lakes Theater, Idaho Shakespeare Festival and Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival. Responsibilities include communication with all designers and other production teams, planning and installation of sound systems for each production. This position oversees multiple audio engineers across the three venues.
Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate and communicate with Creative Teams to achieve the desired design within the given schedule and budget.
Manage estimating and executing all A/V rentals and purchases as required.
Manage Sound Quiet Time for each tech process between production Sound Designer and IATSE, as applicable.
Manage, maintain and install all audio and video systems, equipment, and software across the continuum+rsquo;s campuses for performances and events.
Coordinate with Stage Management, Creative Teams and other departments within GLT on the integration, installation, strike and maintenance of all rehearsal, show and event-related A/V equipment.
Identify practices and procedures that can be changed or modified to make the running of shows or theater operations at GLT more efficient and effective.
Manage Audio run crew staff in all three spaces (with one track at GLT covered by IATSE), including coordinating call times, work calls and needs for pre-production and show duration.
Attend rehearsals, tech rehearsals and Production and GLT/ISF/LTSF Staff meetings as required.
Foster and support a safe working environment, including managing and training on equipment, record keeping and incident reporting.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
Proven professional experience, preferably in live audio mixing in various-sized houses and stage configurations.
Advanced skill with programming and operating Yamaha consoles.
Advanced knowledge of Qlab and Mac OS.
Advanced knowledge of video playback systems, including, but not limited to, Qlab and Isadora.
Advanced knowledge and skills in a variety of audio-related areas, including, but not limited to: microphone reinforcement, recording techniques, sound editing, live audio mixing, foldbacks, equalization, time alignment and console programming.
Must be able to read and disseminate information from design drawings.
Ability to produce accurate audio system drawings and/or patch sheets to ensure the integrity of the sound design.
Skill and experience in creative problem solving to meet the artistic needs of the show within time and financial requirements.
Experience working and collaborating cross-departmentally to ensure the highest level of quality, efficiency and consistency of all presented work.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with members of the production department.
Knowledge of safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment, including safe rigging practices
Skill in the repair and maintenance of standard audio and video equipment.
Knowledge of MIDI + OSC for triggering sound and projection cues.
Knowledge of Dante systems and hardware.
Experience managing IATSE and non-union crews.
Ability to be a leader, work as part of a team, and provide cover and assistance as required.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Dante 3 certification.
Valid driver+rsquo;s license.
Ability to effectively communicate by asking informed questions, relaying information to others, and effectively giving and receiving criticism.
Ability to work well under pressure and respond calmly and efficiently to frequent changes during the production and rehearsal process.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Audio Supervisors often work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the rehearsal and performance schedule. GLT is an indoor theater operating from Sept - May. ISF and LTSF are outdoor theaters operating from May - September. The role may involve physically demanding tasks, including heavy-lifting, and occasionally working in confined spaces or high heat.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Comfortable working at height and with climbing stairs and ladders repeatedly.
Able to sit, stand and squat for extended periods.
Work extended hours, nights and weekends as required.
