Looking for a skilled quality stitcher with an understanding of the theatrical process.

Days: 8-5pm Monday to Friday, with some semi-regular evening and weekend work.

Job Description:
-Responsible for maintaining the level of work that meets the theatre's standards
-Costume Construction, alterations, and repairs
-Organization and cleaning of the costume shop and costume storage.
-Laundry duties, as needed
-Night time availability for a wardrobe swing to help run and dress the show on occasion.
-Perform other duties as assigned

Experience:
-Preferred: BA or BFA in Theatre Design/Technology with Costume Emphasis or Fashion Design/Construction
-2 years of experience sewing costumes for professional theatre, or in garments construction.
-Proficiency with domestic and industrial sewing machines, and overlock sergers.
-Ability to follow complex sewing instructions and complete work in a timely fashion.
