Carpenter needed for fabrication of a range of various items needed for our events. Steps, tables, walls, standing flats, etc etc. Needs will be communicated by company Production Managers + General Manager for Carpenter to take specs and manage build in a timely manner, from planning to requisitioning needed materials to build.

Company needs are generally consistent enough to merit full-time hourly work. Starting rate in the $40 - $50 / hour range. The majority of this work will be at our Shop in northern New Jersey, but we will occasionally need our Carpenter to travel to jobsites in New York City to manage installation of fabricated pieces.

Familiarity with the safe use of power tools and workplace organization + cleanliness essential; knowledge of common theatrical techniques a plus.

Job is expected to last at minimum through the summer and early fall with potential to begin earlier or last longer. Availability during the week of 9/22 with a focus on 9/27 is mandatory.
