PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT
The Production Management Assistant assists the Production Manager, Producing Director, and Senior Production Staff in coordinating the safe and orderly operation of HVS activities during the 2025 Season. The Production Management Assistant reports directly to the Producing Director.
This is a seasonal position, paid $650 per week from April 28th +ndash; August 16th, 2025.
Responsibilities Include:
+middot; Assist in supporting all production elements for all HVS programming and activities, including reading series and educational programs.
+middot; Attend production meetings and assist in tracking communication between designers and production staff.
+middot; Read and respond to daily rehearsal reports and facilitate communication between departments.
+middot; Assist production and facilities staff with maintenance tasks as assigned at the Theater Tent and Snake Hill Studios.
+middot; Work with Company Management staff to arrange all company hospitality and travel, as needed.
Attend and support morning work notes during tech and previews to ensure that work notes are completed promptly.
+middot; Manage, track, and reconcile tax-exempt purchases on behalf of the organization within the approved budget.
+middot; Work closely with other artists to build a safe, respectful, and anti-rasict backstage environment; Display and promote multi-cultural competency and sensitivity.
+middot; Specific tasks, duties, and responsibilities will be assigned by the Interim Director of Production.
+middot; Assist in implementing HVS+rsquo;s new COVID-19 Safety Policies including completing the required Covid-19 safety training provided by HVS.
Qualifications:
+middot; Driver+rsquo;s license and clean driving record required.
+middot; Complete understanding of backstage etiquette. A good working knowledge of technical theatre practices
+middot; This position is physical in nature and required to work outdoors. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outside is required.
+middot; This position must be local to the Hudson Valley. Night and weekend hours will be required.
