The North Country Center for the Arts at Jean's Playhouse, an intimate 260-seat theatre located in the rural resort town of Lincoln, NH, is now hiring for its 2025 Summer Season, which features JERSEY BOYS and GREASE in rotating repertory, with intermittent comedians and presenting acts in between. Most tech positions are only needed for 5 weeks; however, there are a handful who need to run the shows for the entire 9 week season.

The Production Technician / Running Crew reports directly to the Technical Director and Master Carpenter during the shop builds, and to the Stage Management team during the runs of the show. As Production Technician, candidates must be comfortable supporting the scenic department in helping to base coat sets with paint, basic construction projects, pulling specific basic prop build, and any other shop or production related needs as directed. Once the shows are built, this position stays the duration of the season as the backstage Running Crew, moving set pieces, working change-overs, and following instruction of the stage management team. Lifting items up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working with construction tools are day to day activities in this position. While not required, a valid driver's license is preferred.

Weekly Stipend is $275 / week, plus shared, dorm-like housing in walking distance of the theatre, shops, as well as restaurants, grocery stores, and other common needs.
