We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in theatrical entertainment, technical construction, and project management. This individual will be responsible for overseeing multiple custom projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality. The ideal candidate will be an organized, self-motivated professional with excellent communication and follow-through skills.
Hours:
Monday through Friday onsite, 8:00am to 4:30pm; 40 hours of work expected per week
Duties:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with timelines often spanning several weeks
Oversee all aspects of project execution, from client engagement to final delivery
Collaborate with internal teams, including Project Engineers, Technical Designers, and specialized production teams (wood, CNC, metal, paint, etc.)
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scope documents
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and external partners as needed
Review and approve technical drawings, material lists, and production plans
Proactively identify and mitigate risks to project timeline, resolving issues as they arise
Work closely with the Production Department to ensure seamless information flow, maintain alignment on project goals, and uphold client satisfaction
Ensure all projects align with company values and meet or exceed client expectations
Populate and maintain project information inside of Asana
Manage and track change orders and communicate with Client and internal team
Requirements:
Proven experience in theatrical entertainment production and/or technical construction
CAD experience required (preferably AutoCAD or similar software)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving
Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across departments
Solution-oriented mindset, focusing on addressing challenges constructively

A background in scenic fabrication, event production, or related fields
Familiarity with managing creative projects with tight, non-negotiable deadlines and budgets
Preferred:
Experience in touring productions and/or non-theatrical event work is desirable
Experience using Asana
Proficiency in 3d AutoCAD
Experience using Microsoft Office
Experience managing one or more employees (leadership, management, and accountability)

Location:
