Works directly with the Scenic Designer, Director and Technical Director to design and execute the building, pulling and sourcing of props for all Mainstage productions during the season. This position also supervises one props intern. Applicants should be highly motivated with a strong background or experience in historical periods, crafting, set dressing, DIY projects, painting, light carpentry, light sewing etc.
Props will support costumes in some specialty building if necessary. Surflight is a very team oriented theatre and individuals should be flexible, fun, enjoy a fast paced environment, take ownership of the product on the stage and can meet deadlines.
Compensation: $600/wk. Shared housing if not local
