The Ohio Light Opera seeks an Assistant Costume Designer for the 2025 summer season

GENERAL INFORMATION:

The summer contract runs from May 22nd-July 24th. Housing is provided for all staff.

Position includes the design of a one act operetta at the end of the season.

Stipend: Starting at $6840

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Position includes a design for a one act operetta at the end of the season

Assisting multiple designers with multiple ongoing shows

Organizing paperwork and other tracking needs for designers

Shopping, keeping track of budgets, and attending fittings

Help with costume notes as needed

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

The Assistant Costume Designer should be an organized self-starter who has a strong background in costume design and production within a fast-paced professional setting.

Previous experience is a must.

Dedication to maintaining clean, safe, and productive shop environment.
