Theatre UP is looking for a Lighting Designer for our Spring 2025 production of Kirkpatrick and O+rsquo;Farrell+rsquo;s musical +ldquo;Something Rotten.+rdquo; We are a non-profit community theatre organization in Littleton, NH. Performances are held at the historic Littleton Opera House.
The Lighting Designer is responsible for the design and installation of the lighting and special electrical effects used in the production. We are a small organization with a great group of community volunteers that are excited to pitch in where needed. The designer would coordinate with our technical director but be hands on for hang and focus and through tech, working with our light board operator and stage manager.

Schedule includes (some room for discussion):
Thursday May 1: Rental Arrival
Run Through for designers

Friday May 2 +
Saturday May 3: Hang + Focus - Write Cues

Sunday May 4: Tech begins with Actors

Monday May 5: Tech Cue to Cue

Tuesday May 6 -
Thursday May 8: Continue Tech

Friday May 9: Opening

Our production team is hands on, and we work with mainly community volunteers.
The position pays a stipend of $1000, and we can offer you an additional $125 meal stipend for the week that you are here. We will also provide lodging.
