Job Title: QLab Operator

Location: Cleveland, OH

Terms: Part-Time Seasonal Contract. Contract runs from April 20 to May 19, 2025.

Salary/Rate: The QLab Operator will receive a $16.50/hour wage. This seasonal position does not include any additional benefits.

About the Role: The QLab Operator is crucial to the successful audio operation of a production. This role requires a multi-talented individual that has experience or interest in live sound, audio engineering, Mac computers, and the program QLab (4 or 5). This role is perfect for a student or new graduate interested in working in live sound or theater.

Responsibilities: QLab Operator
Serve as QLab Operator (A3) for Noise Off
Assist with daily setup prior to each performance
Run QLab sound effects during the nightly performances, following cues from the stage manager
Assist with daily tear down following each performance

Assist with the production+rsquo;s strike on May 19.
Open communication with A1/House IATSE nightly to ensure that audio needs are satisfied
Additional audio help as needed (downtown or scene shop) with Audio Supervisor


Candidate Requirements:
Current student or graduate with live or theatrical audio background
A prompt, go-to attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills
Must be comfortable with heights/ladders/lifts
Position will require the candidate to lift objects up to 75 lbs.
QLab experience preferred, but not required
