The Costume Technician will assist the Costume Director and/or Costume Coordinator in the creation of the costume design to support the artistic vision of RMT productions. This position will be responsible for the maintenance, organization, and cleanliness of the costume shop and costume inventory.

Minimum Qualifications:
Proficient in costume construction, fittings, and alterations
1-3 years+rsquo; experience working in a professional theatrical costume shop or alteration shop

Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with construction of manufactured patterns and alterations of existing patterns, as well as experience in cutting and draping
Painting, dyeing, and distressing experience.
