Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Theatre Consultant at Hewshott located in Philadelphia, PA to design audio visual, lighting, and/or rigging systems. In this role, you will:

Theatre planning (layout, supporting/adjacent spaces,
Design and document theatrical systems (AV, lighting, rigging, curtains/tracks)
Prepare equipment schedules, bill of materials
Provide descriptions of systems w/ cost estimate ranges
Participate in Teams meetings
Perform site visits to survey existing venues and systems
Work independently and take direction from project lead and/or Principal/Partner
Work an average of 40-hours per week


Qualifications

Candidates should be familiar with various theater types and technical systems. Bachelor's degree strongly suggested. Experience with AutoCAD (or similar). Must be eager to learn and enthusiastic about performing arts, theaters, technology, and how things work.



The following skills/experiences are a plus, but not required:

Experience with Bluebeam
ETCP CR-T/CEE certifications
AVIXA CTS/CTS-I/CTS-D certifications
Knowledge of architecture
Knowledge of construction management
Knowledge of construction means + methods


We offer:

Pay: $65,000 - $80,000 annual salary (depending on experience)
