Assistant Production Stage Manager:

● Responsible for assisting the Stage Manager in all capacities as assigned.

● Acts as backstage run crew member or Deck Chief as needed for Main Stage.

● Stage manages all Popcorn Theatre productions:

○ Attends all rehearsals and performances.
○ Handles script distribution (to actors and music directors) and collection.
○ Calls all cues during the run of the show including light, sound, and deck cues.
○ Opens and prepares theatre or rehearsal space for all rehearsals (includes sweeping and mopping the stage, pre-setting furniture and props, etc.) and cleans up after all rehearsals and performances. Locks rehearsal/performance space at the end of each rehearsal period.
○ Records director+rsquo;s blocking and assists actors with blocking as needed. Takes line notes when actors are off book and prompts actors as needed.
○ Assists properties team and coordinates rehearsal props and furniture as necessary.
○ Develops preset lists and running order lists.
○ Creates and emails daily rehearsal, production meeting, and performance reports in a timely fashion.
○ Facilitates communication between production staff members as necessary for smooth production operations.
○ Records all deck cues, lighting cues, sound cues, etc. and stand-bys in advance of the first technical rehearsal.
○ Facilitates communication between production staff members and cast members as necessary, i.e. costume fittings, makeup orders, program proofing, etc.
○ Manages the production callboard, including sign-in sheets and announcements.
○ Monitors actors attendance and punctuality for all rehearsals and performances and delivers all pre-show time calls.
○ Coordinates all scene shift rehearsals, technical, and dress rehearsals in cooperation with the director and other members of the production team.
○ Responsible for changeovers from Popcorn to Mainstage.

● Assists with strikes.

* While these are the major responsibilities of the position, Tibbits expects a team approach in presenting summer stock; with the tight schedule and unpredictable nature of theatre, additional duties across production areas may be required.
