Oz Event Productions is a leading corporate live events production company. We provide lighting, scenic, sound, and video for both large scale corporate events around the country and small private events locally.

Position Overview:
The Scenic and Lighting Coordinator will play a critical role creating and managing the inventory of the equipment. This position is responsible for overseeing the preparation of lighting and scenic elements as well as acting as the lead technician for some events. The Scenic and Lighting Coordinator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio, video, and lighting equipment. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, a passion for delivering high-quality productions, and the ability to maintain relationships with high profile clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment Setup: Assemble and configure audio, video, lighting, and scenic equipment for events, ensuring all systems are operational before showtime.

Operation: Operate equipment during events, including audio and lighting consoles, projectors, and cameras, to ensure seamless execution of the production.

Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during setup or live events, maintaining a smooth flow of operations.

Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, event planners, and clients to understand event requirements and provide technical support as needed.

Operation of CNC Machine: Act as the main operator for the CNC Machine. Maintain accurate inventory records of all equipment, supplies, and materials. Conduct regular audits to ensure stock levels meet production needs. Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and maintenance activities.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
Load-In and Load-Out: Assist the crew with setting up and tearing down lighting, audio, video and scenic equipment for local events.

Equipment Maintenance: Monitor the condition of all lighting and scenic equipment, coordinating repairs and maintenance as necessary to ensure optimal performance.

Travel: Willing to travel out of state to act as the key technician for live corporate events and act as the representative of Oz Event Productions for clients.

Qualifications:
CAD experience preferred.
Rigging experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in a live events production setting or related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
Valid driver's license and ability to drive a sprinter van.
