The Tony-award winning UTAH SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL, a professional theater company in residence at Southern Utah University, is accepting applications for Production Staff for the 2025 season. The Utah Shakespeare Festival will produce a six-show repertory season and three Green Shows across three venues in the summer/fall of 2025.
Position details below. Contract dates vary by position. Most build contracts begin May 5 and end July 2nd. Run contracts Begin May 5 and end September/October.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Properties Artisan: Responsible for the building and fabrication of stage and rehearsal properties for all productions as assigned. Works with the prop team to complete shop improvement and organizational projects as assigned. Contracts run from May 5 to July 2.


Properties Artisan Apprentice/Stage Crew: Responsible for the building and fabrication of stage and rehearsal properties for all productions as assigned. Works with the prop team to Complete shop improvement and organizational projects as assigned. Responsible for running, storage, and maintenance of props for assigned productions, as well as assisting with changeovers as assigned. Contracts run from May 5 to Sept 14 or Oct 12 depending on theater assignment.


Education and Experience Requirements:
- Prior experience in props construction or other related technical theater fields encouraged.
