We are looking for a Wardrobe Supervisor / Stitcher for a Cast Install on board a Cruise Ship.

03-November-2026 until 02-December-2026.

Expectations include, but are not limited to:

Looking for strong theatrical stitchers who are confident in their abilities to aid in dance costume fittings and alterations during a new cast Installation.

Must be a strong stitcher: Comfortable with using home sewing machines.

Able to read and follow printed costume plots for timely fittings

Should be available to perform fittings and take notes during rehearsals

Replace velcro, hooks + eyes, etc. as needed.

Laundry and press all costume garments upon completion of fittings.

Able to take direction and feedback to expedite the fitting and alteration process.

Able to autonomously continue on alterations with minimal or verbal instructions.

Ability to take apart intricate garments and put them back together

Must be able to take instruction in a professional and positive manner.

Must be able to work in a team environment and maintain a professional work ethic.

Must be able to work on several projects and productions at the same time.

Must be able to handle complex alterations on multiple fabrics, including spandex as well as couture garments and to be able to alter tailored garments in a professional manner and time frame.

All fittings must take place in proper undergarments and show shoes for each costume to ensure correct hems.

All costume to be cleaned and pressed before departing the vessel to ensure the rotation is presented with the standard of costume care that will be expected during each cruise.
