The Neptune Theatre Manager oversees all aspects of daily operation, basic maintenance, and theatre operations around and during events. This is a full-time exempt position that earns between $79,460 and $119,185 annually (midpoint $99,325)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages and schedules the daily operation of the Neptune Theatre.
Ensures that all elements needed for show operation are in place for seamless show day(s).
Responsible for and assists HR in recruiting, hiring and training of all theatre staff directly under Theatre Manager.
Monitors and engages with all vested parties to ensure highest level of service to artist, touring personnel, vendors and patrons.
Ensures safety and security of the Neptune Theatre. Manages and implements emergency procedures as needed.
Ensures nightly settlements are completed and agreed to by all parties.
Ensures timely payroll for staff is provided in a fashion and payment to vendors.
Planning and maintenance of venue policies in accordance with STG policies.


Additional responsibilities:

Work closely with all STG departments to efficiently schedule use of the theatre.
Communicate and follow up theatre and show information and needs to all STG departments about safety, maintenance and show operations.
Understand and track labor rates and hours to most efficiently operate the theatre.
Preform labor and expense estimates as needed for any potential events.
Work with city, county and state agencies to ensure adherence to building and event requirements.
Maintain good relations with all vendors and third parties involved in theatre operation.
Able to perpetuate and maintain a positive environment of equity and inclusion, in line with STG+rsquo;s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion + Access (DEIA) goals.
Maintain the positive working relationship which currently exists with the owners of the Neptune Theatre/Building (Thompson Family).
Assist other STG theatres and operations as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

5 years+rsquo; experience supervising or coordinating Theatre production and/or Front of House Operations.
Able to maintain a positive attitude in a high stress + fast paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to tactfully handle stressful situations, negotiate and resolve conflicts, maintain confidentiality and to respect and observe organizational protocol.
Demonstrated critical thinking, customer service, problem solving, conflict resolution, decision making, leadership, team building, time management and motivational skills.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and on deadline. Proactively solve problems leading to positive outcomes.
Works well independently and as part of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Windows programs
