RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Technical Director works closely with the Director to design, implement and run the technical aspects of the theatrical production.

REQUIREMENTS:
+bull; Strong leadership and organizational skills
+bull; Exhibits skillful communication with the students involved in the production and the production team
+bull; Exhibits an ability to foster positive relationships with the students involved in the production and the production team
+bull; Technical Theater experience preferred

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
+bull; Meets regularly with the Director
+bull; Orders any necessary technical equipment for the play
+bull; Create and train a team of student technicians
+bull; Assign student technicians to run the technical aspects of the show
+bull; Oversees the programming of the light / sound board
+bull; Coordinates schedules with the student technicians, Director and other Theater Managers
+bull; Ensure that the technical components are put away and, if needed, repaired after the production
+bull; Attend to all other duties and tasks related to the technical aspects of the show as assigned by the Musical Director and Activities Director
