The Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center at South Dakota State University (SDSU) seeks a collaborative, tech-savvy, people-centered, customer focused leader for the role of Operations Manager. Reporting to the Larson Family Endowed Director, the Operations Manager is responsible for logistical and technical event support, scheduling, and client services, recruiting, training, and supervising student event staff, building, facility, and equipment management. This position is located in Brookings, South Dakota and is a 12-month, full-time, benefits-eligible position.

The Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center is a state-of-the-art performing arts center that is the home for concerts, theatrical and dance performances, and special events. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Operations Manager role blends hands-on engagement and managerial oversight and requires the ability to demonstrate a mastery of all technical aspects of performing arts center production. The Operations Manager is responsible for the planning and effective execution of events held in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center through facilities management, accurate scheduling, strong customer service, clear communication with internal and external clients, and the hiring, training, and supervising of student event staff. The Operations Manager must follow and facilitate The Oscar+rsquo;s event and operational processes and procedures.
