Stages St. Louis is looking for an electrician/spot light operator for our 2024 Season: Steel Magnolias, Newsies, and Ragtime. Contract is June 24th- October 25th. Housing is not available. Duties include:
a) Participate in all rehearsals, photo calls, performances, and call times as scheduled
b) Participate in hang, circuit, dimmer patch, focus and/or strike of lighting instruments for each production
c) Assist with the pre-season prep, the load-in, changeover periods and season strike
d) Perform any pre- and post-show setup/strike of equipment used in any production
e) Assist with pre-show duties as assigned by the Electrics Supervisor or Assistant Electrics Supervisor.
f) Oversee practical and scenic wiring as needed
g) Assist with carpentry projects relating to electrified scenery as needed
h) Perform any other duties as assigned
by the Electrics Supervisor
i) Read and adhere to the guidelines in the Employee Handbook
j) Other duties as assigned
