Master Electrician +ndash; Assist the Technical Director and Master Carpenter with the supervision of students in lab classes, work-study and in production for all WCT shows.
Typically 4 main stage musicals, 4 supported black box productions and 3 workshops.
Work with wide range of technology from mid 20th Century to current. Work as needed in the electrics and audio areas but also may work other production areas like painting and carpentry. Training and experience with theatrical lighting, setup, repair, hang, focus and crew supervision; able to diagnose malfunctions in complete lighting systems and implement repairs as needed. Good communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of people. BA or equivalent production experience. The position begins August 15th and is for the academic year (9 months), salary, benefits including health insurance available. In compliance with NYC+rsquo;s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $30,000 - $39,000.
