A Taste of Ireland is looking for a Lead Lighting Technician to join its US tour this spring season. Run by International production company Pace Live, the A Taste of Ireland shows have been performed to thousands around the globe. After coming off successful tours of the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand and completing its premiere Off Broadway the show heads to the Midwest for its spring season.

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, roles are inclusive of but not limited to:


Attend Pre-Production Meetings via Google Meet
Become intimately familiar with show prior to rehearsals via calling script, show plots, video recordings, and Pre-Production Meetings
Maintaining Light Plot with any adjustments made during rehearsals
To be responsible for touring Lighting equipment while on tour.
Follow up advance with venues
Assist Production Manager with any lighting equipment rentals that may be needed at specific venues
Assist with Load In/Out.
Lead the lighting focus immediately after load in
Final check of stage/lights after load in
Communication with Stage Manager prior to curtain to ensure smooth (and on-time) show start
Operating Lighting Console (ETC) to execute show cues
Making necessary decisions to ensure and maintain show integrity
Provide the Stage Manager with pertinent information for Show Report
Ensure that all lighting equipment are kept in a tidy, clean and orderly manner, and well maintained
Assist with driving a box truck between venues
Final checks at load out
Additional Duties as agreed upon
Be an ambassador for Pace Live at all times




Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 previous tours in similar position
Valid Driver+rsquo;s license
Excellent problem-solving skills
Self-motivated
Able to perform duties with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Positive attitude
Team player
Ability to adapt with varying venues and situations


Wage and per diem position offered to the successful candidate.
