Organization Background:
P:L Theatrical is a design and production firm based out of Central Florida, offering lighting, sound, and projection design, as well as management services to a wide range of entertainment and architectural clients.

We are looking for freelance contractors to add to our roster for our fall season.
Contract Rate: $18 - $25/hr

Primary Responsibilities
* Use provided documentation to hang, circuit, troubleshoot, and focus theatrical lighting rig
* Build practical and LED special effect lighting, as needed
* Install and manage special effect generator/machines
* Maintain and organize electrics shop and instrument storage/inventory, as needed
* Service/repair theatrical fixtures and equipment
* Complete basic patching on ETC EOS console

Physical Demands:
- Comfortable working on ladders (A-frame and extension), scaffolding, and single man/scissor lifts
- Able to lift and carry 50 pounds regularly
- Specific physical requirements: color vision, depth perception, full range of hearing

Qualifications:
- Motivated and responsible with team-oriented attitude
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Docs+Sheets, ETC EOS.
- Knowledge of basic rigging techniques and safety procedures.
- Available to work flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends.
- Comfortable driving a 16' box truck
- Valid drivers license and working vehicle.
- Basic understanding of audio systems and audio routing a plus.

* Preferable Qualifications: Basic knowledge of Vectorworks, Lightwright, and QLab
