Looking for a lighting designer for our educational tour of Once Upon a One More Time in the San Fernando/LA area. This could extend into Fringe and our summer conservatory show.

Tour dates: Monday-Saturday 32-40hrs a week from 4/6-6/6.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Arriving on time at each tech/show site
Take direction from the stage manager and directors to ensure all cues are executed as intended
Performing the tasks associated with the loading and unloading of all lighting equipment for set-ups and
tear-downs. Providing assistance with load-ins, load-outs, and strikes as required.
Assist Stage Manager with lighting pick-up/drop-offs (includes Haze/Fog Machines)
Manage spotlight issues or troubleshooting
Ensure Jaxx Theatre and all school sites are left clean and in good, working order
Create lighting design for show every week
Run lights (Light Board operator) for ALL shows for each TECH/PERFORMANCE week
Make sure all lighting problems are taken care of as well as any other lighting jobs assigned to you.
Ensuring you have ALL supplies/inventory replenished before every tech week
Heavy lifting, must be able to regularly lift a min. of 50 pounds
Load in/out ASSISTANCE as needed
Support and assist Stage Manager/Tour Manager as needed
Arriving on time at each tech/show site
Obtaining a sub if you aren+rsquo;t able to make a shift and ensuring the sub is given full details regarding the
coverage if absent. If it is a planned absence, please make sure your shift is covered within 72 hours of your
scheduled shift. Please notify the Director and Stage Manager of the coverage.
